Gift Vouchers

These Gift Voucher Terms & Conditions apply to all gift vouchers purchased from Le Petit through lepetit.co.za.
Purchasing a Gift Voucher
Gift vouchers may be purchased online through our website in the available denominations displayed at the time of purchase.
The purchaser is responsible for ensuring that all recipient information, including the recipient’s name and email address, is entered correctly. We cannot be held responsible for gift vouchers sent to an incorrect email address supplied by the purchaser.
Gift vouchers will be issued once payment has been successfully completed.
Delivery
Gift vouchers are delivered electronically to the email address provided during purchase.
Where the option is available, the purchaser may choose to have the gift voucher delivered immediately or on a selected future date.
Please allow for normal email delivery times. We recommend that recipients also check their spam or junk mail folders if the voucher email is not received.
Validity
Gift vouchers are valid for three (3) years from the date of issue, unless a longer validity period is expressly stated on the voucher.
The voucher will expire once its full value has been redeemed or once the applicable validity period has ended.
Redeeming a Gift Voucher
Gift vouchers may be redeemed against eligible products purchased from lepetit.co.za.
To redeem a voucher, the unique gift voucher code must be entered in the applicable gift card or voucher field during checkout.
The value of the voucher will be deducted from the total value of the order.
If the value of the purchase exceeds the available voucher balance, the remaining amount must be paid using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
Remaining Balance
Gift vouchers do not need to be redeemed in a single transaction.
Where the full voucher is not used, the remaining balance will remain available on the same voucher code until it is used in full or the voucher reaches its expiry date.
No change or cash payment will be provided for any unused voucher balance.
Cash and Refunds
Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
Except where otherwise required by applicable law, gift vouchers are non-refundable once they have been issued.
Purchases made using a gift voucher remain subject to our standard Returns, Refunds and Exchange Policy and any rights available to consumers under applicable South African law.
Where a refund is approved for an item originally purchased using a gift voucher, the applicable amount may be returned to the original gift voucher or provided as store credit, where appropriate.
Lost, Deleted or Misplaced Vouchers
Gift voucher codes should be treated like cash.
If a voucher email has been accidentally deleted or misplaced, please contact us at info@lepetit.co.za. We may be able to resend the voucher after verifying the original purchase.
We cannot accept responsibility for a voucher code that has been shared with, accessed by or used by an unauthorised person, except when required by law.
Voucher Security
Each gift voucher contains a unique code.
The purchaser and recipient are responsible for keeping this code secure. Once a valid voucher code has been used to make a purchase, the value redeemed will be deducted from the voucher balance.
Gift vouchers may not be copied, reproduced, sold or otherwise used for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
We reserve the right to investigate and, where reasonably justified, suspend a gift voucher where fraud, misuse or unauthorised activity is suspected.
Promotional Discounts
Gift vouchers represent prepaid value and are not promotional discount coupons.
Unless otherwise stated, eligible promotional discounts or coupon codes may be used on an order paid for using a gift voucher, subject to the individual promotion’s terms and conditions.
Gift vouchers may not be used to purchase another gift voucher unless expressly permitted by Le Petit.
Product Availability
Purchase of a gift voucher does not guarantee the availability of any particular product.
All products remain subject to availability at the time the voucher is redeemed.
Returns and Exchanges
Products purchased using a gift voucher are subject to our normal Returns, Refunds and Exchange Policy.
Nothing in these Gift Voucher Terms & Conditions is intended to limit any right a consumer may have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or other applicable South African legislation.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Gift Voucher Terms & Conditions from time to time.
Any changes will not unlawfully reduce the value or validity of a gift voucher that has already been purchased and issued.
